Visiting Time: any time of the year is fine nice views in Winter (December-February), the Feldberg skiing slope develops into a bit of a sludgy, muddy area in summer - maybe not the best time? - our visit was on 15th Jan. 2001.
Transport: Trains from Freiburg run every hour to Baerental station (967m), takes about 45min. From there catch the bus to the Feldberger Hof. Tickets are DM10 for a day-ticket available from the Automats at the main train station or on the buses and trams.
Activities: Skiing, Snowboarding (rental gear available at ok rates), tobogganing, circuit walks, hiking, hang-gliding.
